Self Sovereignty & the Path of Power

Hi everyone.. I host a radio show each week, called Mystery, Miracles and Mysticism with a friend of mine. The show is dedicated to the teachings of the great Mystic of our time, Almine. The theme for last Thursday’s show was the Path of Power and Self Sovereignty and I wrote a piece for it, which I will share below.

” For me, I have been aware of situations that have cropped up recently that could have led me to take the role of peace- maker; of the person who steps in to fix situations or smooth over the bumps.

This can be a very addictive pattern for anyone who took this role on within the family structure from childhood and I feel it is a big issue for many light workers on earth today.

I remember years ago, while at a retreat with Almine, a situation arose in which a few participants came to blows in front of  Almine during a lunch break. I was one of the recipients of some angry words. At the time, I was very shocked but somehow,  I managed to stay centred enough to be the observer as well as the observed.

Almine sat with her lunch in front of her and smiled benignly at the scene as it unfolded before her eyes. She didn’t engage. She knew, and now, so do I, that All was in perfection.

If the bumps exist there is a reason for them. To resist them is futile, for opposition brings more of the same. To pander to them is a form of tribalism and serves to keep us in mediocrity.

I am learning finally, not to oppose the bumps when they come, not to judge them, but to be like water. All is in perfection. All is flow..

So what, therefore can we do, when faced with the situations life brings us?

We look within.

Nothing exists outside of ourselves.

Every situation has been designed by us; some, like a work of art, carefully, tenderly, meticulously, and some, haphazardly – but All situations are ultimately gifts we have, bestowed upon us, by ourself, on the never ending journey of Infinite life.

This, for me, is the Path of  Power, the path of total self sovereignty; to claim responsibility for our creations, our manifestations.

If we do not like what we have manifested, then an adjustment in attitude, which we vehemently incorporate into our lives, will reap abundant rewards in terms of how life unfolds.

Life will become more fluid, more graceful, more magical, more abundant and more peaceful. I am the Sovereign Master of my life. I claim Self Sovereignty in All that I am, All that I do, all that I experience.”
